I don't see that. Been many wins so far, one after another. I think the lefty's are dying of thirst for an L".

Look no further than Bill Maher, praying for a Recession, acknowledging it will hurt millions, just to get rid of Trump.

Trump derangement syndrome is indeed real. I didn't vote for the clown, but I do appreciate his ability to bring out the absolute worst in the mouth breathing, frothing progs.

Bingo. This show started on Election Day, and has continued uninterrupted ever since. Demonstrates how deranged the far left is. Like a man said - if Trump cured cancer, they'd vilify him for putting oncologists out of work.

What they don't realize is that Americans, contrary to far left's belief, are not stupid, and will conclude that these clowns are deranged, detached from reality, and unelectable.

Nobel Peace Prize for Trump, Dennis Rodman, and Kim Jong Un!

Y'all think this idea is too weird?

Has anyone seen the CNN interview of Chris Cuomo with Dennis Rodman?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAJLJRRJY3E

Pretty amazing stuff... If only the Nobel Committee had some balls.

Kolbe was a Catholic priest who wrote articles condemning Nazis for rounding up Jewish people. When someone escaped from a Nazi camp, ten people was chosen to be executed, a Jewish man was in that list and cried because he had a wife and children. So Maximilian Kolbe volunteered to take his place. The Nazis went after the Jews but the Polish people did not fare well during the war. According to wikianswers, 3 million Catholic Polish people died under the Nazis regime.

How do you even post something like this?

And this for example - " There is a Holocaust memorial in Liberty State Park, also a prime location. If the park were to relocate this memorial, I am sure there would be outrage."

On Fulop's twitter feed the nazis and white power contingent used the same argument.

Yvonne feeds off anger, racism, fear, and misery. She's toxic.

No, you're toxic for regurgitating the old trope about twitter nazis and white power.

It was Fulop who first played the Holocaust card by calling the Polish Senator anti-semite and Holocaust denier, bringing the whole discourse to the gutter level.

Therefore, the hypothetical example of moving a Holocaust memorial is absolutely fair game, and a high-road one at that compared to the Fulop utterance.

For Fulop's tweets to be "bigotry", the opinions he's opposed to would have to be legitimate in your view. You're down with holocaust denial and anti-semitism?

Fulop is lying when he says that Speaker of the Polish Senate Stanislaw Karczewski is a Holocaust denier and an anti-semite.

Flat-out lie, meant to raise the stakes and piss everybody off even more.

Tip of Morris Canal Park makes too much sense for it to happen.

If Fulop played it right, approached the community in the right way, explained the rationale, I bet the move to that location would have been accepted. Not to the fuking median and not because I told you so, and certainly not because Poles are anti-semites or whatever slur he used.

He handled it in the worst possible way.

His conduct does not give me any confidence in Senator Fulop or whatever political office he will be aspiring to.

My understanding is that local Poles still commemorate anniversaries of the Katyn massacre at the memorial. If Fulop moves it to the median, how the hell are they going to do that?

I say move it to the tip of the Morris Canal Park.

In a twist, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis Thursday evening offered to take the Katyn memorial if Jersey City doesn't want it.

"As mayor I would be proud to have it at one of our many of our wonderful parks, maybe at Rutkowski Park which is named in honor of one of Bayonne's most prominent Polish-American leaders," Davis said in a statement.

it's actually the opposite of literal. it is figurative.
first, they died of machine-gun fire (not bayonettes).
the earliest victims of the massacre were Polish military officers who were instructed not to resist the Russians, and were rounded up and imprisoned for their efforts. it was a huge betrayal, in addition to being a war crime.
they were "stabbed in the back" in the figurative sense.

Do you understand expression "way too literal"?

It does not mean "literal".

"Way too literal" as in depicting murder.

In addition, they were not machine-gunned. They were shot from pistols in the back of the head.

Your point about "backstabbing" is valid. But also too literal to make the art powerful.

You want a powerful war crime (in this case Holocaust) memorial?

Check out the Berlin Holocaust memorial. Yes, different scale entirely, but no drastic sculptures there. They are not needed. The stelae say it all.

look, just because you want life to be sunshine and roses doesn't mean it's a bad statue. It's a fantastic statue, and even if it moves, I hope it stays somewhere prominent. It's an icon of this city now, whether you like it or not.

The one that literally depicts murder (gassing with Zyklon B in Auschwitz) seem to be enclosed, so the public can make a choice to view them or not with their eyes wide open.

The others are striking (dead bodies, escapes, etc), but do not depict a graphic act of murder.

Looks like Turner arrived on the scene late, as they were almost done and about to tow the vehicle.

I bet her daughter called her and asked her to come over and bring her gold PA badge (which, btw, no PA non-law enforcement official ever uses and is largely ceremonial).

Clearly a deliberate attempt to improperly influence a police officer. Kudos to the officers for handling it well. What a lousy job...

What? How so?? The distance to the JCMC ER via a theoretical LSP vehicular bridge is the same distance, or longer, from ANY point in BeLa.

And, the Communipaw (or , Johnston) to Pacific to Grand to JCMC route is all right turns, while any route via LSP would include two rail crossings in addition to multiple extra traffic lights and some left turns.

My bad, I thought BeLa extends east of Pacific Ave, where all the development is happening around the Light Rail station. I looked at the map and it seems this area (between Pacific and Turnpike) is not BeLa. Still, whatever the name, very soon this area will be densely developed.
