Choc O Pain - Now Open in the Heights! Yum!

French bakery Choc O Pain recently opened a new location in Jersey City.

Owner Clemence Danko moved to Hoboken from France with her husband in 2009 and was disappointed with the bakery options, which sparked an interest for her to start her own bakery.

Danko attended culinary school in New York City before opening her first location in Hoboken in 2012 to bring a taste of France to the West side of the Hudson. Following the opening of that location, she brought that same taste to Jersey City on Jersey Avenue in 2013.

After almost four years, Danko has now decided to open a bakery in the Jersey City Heights at 330-332 Palisade Ave. Scroll through the gallery above for a look at the bakery's ribbon-cutting.
