We are back! After four years of searching for a new home, J CITY Theater is back! Opening night is May 4th!

As most of you know, J CITY Theater lost our performance space in 2014. It's been a long search for an affordable new stage and we have finally done it! We have spent the last several months dusting off the lights and hanging the curtains and we are now ready to welcome you to our new home:

The Barrow Mansion
83 Wayne Street
Jersey City, NJ

Our new production is co-sponsored by The Barrow Mansion and we can not thank them enough for their incredible support and welcoming spirit! It is because of their generosity that we announce our new show!

CLARK GABLE SLEPT HERE opens with a dead (and naked) male hooker in the Penthouse of the famed Hollywood Hotel, Chateau Marmont – and gets progressively wilder from there. The room had been rented by the world’s biggest Action Movie Star, but he’s not there. He’s blissfully on his way to the Golden Globe Awards, leaving behind his management team to clean up the mess and keep the secret.

Stephen Hope, last seen in J CITY’s production of Tuna Christmas, plays the megastar’s manager. Teaming up with a Hollywood ‘fixer’, Morgan Wright played by Sandy Cockrell, he struggles to keep the lid on this volatile nightmare and protect his closeted client. Nick Probst joins the cast as a mysterious hotel visitor. Witness to the chaos is the hotel’s maid, Estella, played by Ali De Leon and the hotel’s uptight manager Gage Holland (Clay Cockrell).

Four years has given us a lot of time to find just the right script so that we could come back with a bang! And this one will keep you laughing all night long!

*Note, this production is not suitable for all ages as it contains some nudity and strong language
